Since they are just text files, you can open them with Notepad or WordPad. If they are empty, the tabs in msconfig will be empty. Even if the files have no contents they should still show up as tabs in msconfig. WebUsing MSCONFIG. (Win 98, ME & XP only) or SYSEDIT. (Win95 or 98 only) and return to the previous page. Click Start Run (or, on an expanded feature keyboard, type Win+R ). Type MSCONFIG or SYSEDIT (whichever you intend to use). Click OK.
