WebOct 10, 2024 · Ive read that fox body guys will run a restrictor that will save the life of the heater cores. Also some guys will run a 1/4 socket in the hose also instead of the plastic restrictor. On top of this they will run under drive pulleys. Im guessing because the pressure from the water pump kills heater cores early.

Because you have to cut the evaporator case and I have not found a way to close the lid back up and reseal it that I really like. I still use the old wire ties and silicone method.
