I removed exhaust hanger along frame and added a couple washers in there to move hanger off frame a little and bolted hanger back up. No more problems.

Easy install, no rubbing when you torque the motor over, possibly even after bending the firewall lip etc and the same EGT and HP performance. WebJul 3, 2012 · Just did the replace frame and tub. 94/2.5L/4sp stock. I didn't change the exhaust manifold or exhaust pipe. Used the old one. Now the exhaust pipe is hitting the front drive shaft. I can't figure any reason that anything has changed.
