WebIt’s perhaps unfair to call this South American cichlid the “Green Terror” – after all, it isn’t always green. The aggressive behavior is certainly a defining feature of this remarkable cichlid, although “Terror” might be taking it too far. An inquisitive nature combined with a large tank can soften out those territorial edges. WebMay 25, 2024 · I have a Green Terror that began 'chasing its tail' about 4 months ago. I see no signs of disease. Her appetite is fine. She is in a 65-gallon tank alone and the water parameters are all perfect. Temp is about 79 degrees. I have some videos that show the behavior although she is a little calmer than usual when she is being recorded

Usually, the only reason people try this is to bring their fish out of hiding, when, in reality, proper stocking with the Malawi cichlids would take care of that problem. :thumb:
