WebAs the title says, while cleaning the screen using a bit of liquid handsoap and water, i wasnt careful enough, leading to some of the soap getting into the speaker-ports. As a result, they now sound very muffled. Even at the highest volume, anything is barely understandable anymore. Whats the best way to get rid of it? WebWhat you want to do, is disable all apps that are using the microphone, in order to make this happen, you'd have to go to settings, then you click Privacy, that's where you'll find Permissions Manager, click on Permissions Manager. WebThe solution for me was to (1) use a toothpick to remove any of the major debris (see above) and then (2) use a toothbrush to remove the little bits remaining. For the tooth brush, I was methodical about keeping a high but acute angle. I worked at cleaning the ports for maybe 3 minutes or so each? WebTear it to proper width and fold over several times (keeping sticky side out). Pulls out gunk and because it's painters tape, leaves no sticky residue (which would gather more gunk!).
